Rope Access

TT Industrial are committed to safety and quality by using innovative access methods whenever possible.

Rope Access is not intended as a replacement for traditional methods of access such as Scaffolding. However, Rope Access can often provide a more cost-effective, safer alternative in complex access situations.

The nature of rope access reduces project time, lowering downtime and minimising the impact on ongoing operations, significantly reducing the cost to clients in comparison to traditional methods.

The flexibility of Rope Access lends itself to any of the industries in which WE work, in any location throughout the UK.

Industrial Coatings and Bridge Refurbishment

TT Industrial provides hard wearing coatings for all industrial applications.

TT Industrial provides hard wearing coatings for all industrial applications. We advise on the best coating for your material, environment and required fire rating.

Using high performance coatings, we thoroughly prep the area and use a 3-coat system for a long lasting, durable finish. We’re based in Middlesbrough and work with organisations throughout the UK.

Epoxy Coatings

Epoxy coatings provide optimum protection against abrasion, turbulence, corrosive substances and extreme temperatures. TT Industrial apply our epoxy coatings using a 3-coat system for maximum durability.

The first stage is to prep the area by cleaning down to create a solid base. After inspection, we apply an aluminium primer undercoat that is moisture-tolerant. We then add a high build second coat for thickness. Finally, we add a top coat which gives the metalwork its colour and finish.

We use tried and tested, brand name paints including Tikkurila and Axalta Coating Systems (previously known as Protega Paints).

Epoxy coatings are sprayed and hand applied to structural steelwork, skirts, process and storage vessels, tunnel linings, soffits and more. We work to the Hydrocarbon High Rise Temperature Curve which provides fire resistance from 30 to 120 minutes. Epoxy coatings can also be formed into removable castings for special situations, such as valves and actuators.

Bridge Refurbishments and Metalwork

We refurbish bridges and metalwork to give it a modern look and expand its life expectancy. Any bridges or metalwork that is rusty or old can be unsightly, and the slightest damage can make it deteriorate quickly.

TT Industrial will inspect the metalwork and assess the best way to repair it. This will usually involve a pressure wash or an abrasive blast to give a good base profile. This sound base is then fit to repaint and finish, making it look as good as new and keeping it functioning for a lot longer than if it was left alone.

Bridge and metalwork refurbishments are a much more cost effective alternative to removing and replacing the full structure.

Fireproofing & Intumescent Coatings

Fireproof coatings are a core part of our offering.

Fireproof coatings are a core part of our offering. Intumescent coatings swell with heat exposure, producing an insulating layer that delays heating of the steel. This makes intumescent coatings ideal as passive fire protection of steel frame buildings, preserving the strength of the steel and structural integrity of the building for an extended period.

We apply intumescent coatings by spraying them on to the prepared steelwork. They can also be applied underneath roofs or metal sheeting.

There are many types of intumescent coating and we are happy to advise on which one will work best for your application. This will depend on the type and use of the building, the environment, the nature of the steel structure and the fire rating requirement.

Non Slip Flooring

Non slip flooring is a coating used in hundreds of industrial applications. The rubberised texture is created with the use of epoxy coatings. A non slip resin is applied, and grains added for extra grip. Non slip flooring is ideal for footpaths, bridges, walkways, large sheds and more.

In areas where dust is present, we would recommend sealing the floor with a rubberised coating.

Non slip flooring has a clean look and is very hard-wearing. Our solutions for non slip flooring are extremely cost effective.

Graffiti Removal

TT Industrial offer specialist graffiti removal from our base in Middlesbrough.

Graffiti is known for damaging the reputation of a building or area, deterring customers and tenants. Traditional methods of refurbishment can be extremely costly and time consuming, using valuable resources that could be better used elsewhere.

Walls, buildings and underpasses are at particularly high risk of graffiti. We see this problem all over the country and so we created our graffiti removal service to combat it, restoring buildings to their natural state and keeping the area well looked after.

Our graffiti removal team use a high pressure wash with a special solution designed by Tor Coatings. This solution can remove spray paint from just about any surface or material. With our equipment and cleaning solution, graffiti is soon removed entirely.

We’ve worked throughout the UK with councils, housing associations and private organisations to remove graffiti.

Graffiti Prevention

As well as graffiti removal, we also offer a graffiti prevention system. We use a specialist lacquer which we can spray onto walls, buildings and more. This solution repels spray paint, meaning that the material treated cannot be sprayed with graffiti – it will come straight off.

The solution is designed to withstand repeated graffiti attacks, giving you a long term solution and lasting peace of mind. We have several finishes available, including gloss and satin, as well as a wide range of colours.

The first step to removing graffiti and protecting your buildings is to arrange a site survey. Our team will advise on the system and the results you can expect. We have many happy customers throughout the UK thanks to our advanced graffiti removal system.
